Our Little museum

The Visitors centre existed for over 8 years,  ran by Airplane Enthusiasts Eric Isaacs and John Coates until recently in December 2014. Due to some disputes with the landowners, Peel Holdings, the original Visitors centre has been shut down and now demolished. However there was hope for the museum yet, fortunately, thanks to City Airport, the Museum has been given a new home in the control tower and shall be up and running soon for the summer of 2015.

The Visitor Centre contains interesting historical documents and displays, which are supplied by numerous benefactors such as the Bomber Command Association. The control tower gives stunning views of the airfield and tours are available to see around the aerodrome and watch various aircraft land and take off.
